Posted by: Kathleen Olson on December 29, 2003 at 22:19:50 Lodging for the Presidents’ Day Festival – Minneapolis, MN, Wisconsin Select has 38 rooms reserved at the Tournament Headquarters Hotel (Clarion Hotel-Bloomington, 8151 Bridge Rd, Bloomington, MN, 55437, 1-800-328-7947). Two rooms have been reserved for coaches, ten rooms for the 18s team, 9 rooms for the 17s team, 9 rooms for the 16s team and 8 rooms for the 15s team (The VerVoort and Shelton families are counted under the 17s team). If you require an additional room (in addition to the one already reserved for your family), please contact the hotel as soon as possible to guarantee availability and mention the special rate for the tournament. Wisconsin Select rooms that are not confirmed with a credit card will not be held for us after Friday, Feb. 6th. The hotel will require your credit card information to guarantee your room. All rooms are doubles at $67/night. The rooms have been reserved for Friday, Feb. 13th and Saturday, Feb. 14th. The hotel has an indoor pool, laundry facilities and a free continental breakfast. Our teams will likely play at a different site each day. Sunday’s location will be determined by Saturday’s pool play. The specifics for Saturday’s pool play will probably not be available until Wednesday, Feb. 11th when we will find out where each team plays and whether we are in the morning pool or the afternoon pool.
