Top 10 Reasons to join the Wisconsin Select Program

1. Club philosophy - Our goal is to provide the best all-around club experience.  We are not the biggest club, just the best.  We focus on a core group of athletes and provide them with what they need.  Our club size allows for all coaches to get to know each player on every team.

2. Coaches - We provide qualified, energetic, and knowledgeable coaches for every team.  On average our head coaches have over 10 years experience per team.  Coaches from our program have gone on to succeed at UW-Milwaukee, Kentucky, and Nebraska among others.  One of our current coaches was also selected as the top Developmental Coach for USA volleyball by the USOC in 2002.

3. Competition - Each team practices on a separate court every practice...no need to share space.  Each Select team plays a tough schedule against the top competition in the country.  Players will compete in front of college coaches at major tournaments and national qualifiers.

4. Recruiting - While our main goal is to improve players’ volleyball skills, we are also active in helping with the college recruiting process.  Here is what we do for you:

-  Yearly "recruiting info" meeting for parents/players

We have recruiting connections at ALL collegiate levels Division 1, 2 and 3).  Fact is, not everyone can get a Division 1 scholarship.  If you make our program, you’ll have an opportunity to play in college.  Our coaches care about helping you find the best fit for you...not for the club’s reputation

5. Low club fees - No one is trying to make money off of the players.  And, there are no hidden costs in the quoted fee (no extra costs for qualifiers, team equipment, etc.).

6. Experienced club leadership - Top club administrators have been with Select for over 20 years.  We are the longest running VB club in the state of WI.

7. Weekly setter training - Advanced training at the highest levels in preparation for a college career.  Training includes footwork, hand position, tempos, setter attack, decision making and the psychological/leadership aspects of setting.

8. Fun - Developing into a great volleyball player takes hard work and dedication BUT we still want you to enjoy the “moment.”   Parents and players become friends for life at Select.

9. Opportunity - While playing time is never guaranteed, as a general rule, you make the team and you get to play.  Player development is more important to us than winning!
